Kiwanis Club of Dexter Sunrise 74 Grove Street, Dexter, ME 04930 The Kiwanis Club of Dexter-Sunrise meets every Friday at 7:00 am at Noah's Landing, where breakfast is served. Each meeting has a speaker or other activity arranged by the members. Many members arrive before the 7:00 AM starting time for socializing. The meetings end promptly at 8:00 AM. The Board of Directors (which includes all of the officers) meets the first Wednesday of the month from 7:00 to 8:00 AM at the Noah's Landing. Most of the club’s business is conducted at these meetings. All members may attend, but only board members can vote. WHAT IS KIWANIS?
Kiwanis is a world wide service organization for individuals desiring personal involvement in the leadership of their communities. As a group, they can accomplish what individuals cannot do alone.

These individuals belong to Kiwanis Clubs located throughout the world. They attend regular meetings for fellowship and inspiration. They perform voluntary community service through committees....usually after hours.

Specifically - Kiwanis is a service organization. It does not prescribe a way of life for others. It often does, however, act as a forum for diverse ideas.
