The Daily Me

Force of Change
Today I saw pussy willows and the crackling of sunlight on the water.
The dirt is thawing beneath the cold crust of the sod covering.
Worms are moving, nourishing the soil with their excrement.
Soon shafts of green will push through, eroding the stale stench of the ground,
Forcing the sun to illuminate green, replacing brown.
