ALFRED J. KENNEWAY III
NEWPORT – Alfred Joseph Kenneway III, 74, died peacefully July 12, 2006 at his Golf Course Road residence after a long illness. He was born October 4, 1931 at Worcester, Mass., a son of Alfred and Myrtle (Ireland) Kenneway, Jr. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Alfred retired as a software engineer for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration [NASA].

He is survived by his wife, Francesca (Deery) Kenneway of Newport; and a sister, Phyllis Carmody of Englewood, Florida.
