ALVIN E. STEWART
NORTH NEWPORT - Alvin E. Stewart, 83, died June 16, 2009 at his Mullen Road residence. He was born May 12, 1926 in Cambridge, Massachusetts a son of Winfred and Dolly (Thurston ) Stewart. He was a well known well driller and fabricator. Alvin was a World War II Navy veteran and was a member of the Corinna Post American Legion.

He is survived by 2 step daughters; 4 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a great great grandson.

A private graveside committal service will be held Monday, June 22nd, at the family lot, North Newport Cemetery. In addition to other family members, he was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Gray) Stewart on May 30, 2007. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
