Catherine Fowler
CAMBRIDGE – Catherine Fowler, 89, died February 26, 2012 at her daughter’s residence. She was born January 17, 1923 in Cortland, NY, a daughter of Edwin and Elizabeth (Alger) Peek.

Catherine was a Navy WAVES veteran during World War II.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Leah and husband Gordon Brainerd of Branford, CT, Louise and husband Raymond Cogswell of Cambridge; 2 sisters, Mary Jane Peek of New York, and Carolyn Tulley of Florida; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 great great grand-daughter.

A memorial service will be held in June at the Cambridge Baptist Church, with Pastor Samuel McKeen officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
