CHARLES H. WILSON
NEWPORT – Charles H. Wilson, 52, died February 6, 2004. He was born March 7, 1951 at Niles, Michigan a son of Clarence and Shirley (Nelson) Wilson. Charles was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. His vocation and avocation was cooking; as a chef in a number of restaurants, in his own catering business, and for his family and friends. Charles was a member of the Stetson Union Church. He was also an avid bowler and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, J. Phyllis (Wilcox) Wilson of Winterport; 4 brothers, John of Sarasota, FL, James of Dexter, William of Bedford, Texas, and Russell of Town Creek, Alabama; a step-brother and step-sister, Jeffrey and Nancy Brewster, both of Johnson City, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.

Because of travel arrangements, services were held Sunday afternoon at the Stetson Union Church. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport.

A graveside funeral and committal service will be held 1 PM Saturday, June 5th, at the Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley, with the Rev. David Ray, Sr. officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Newport.
