SANGERVILLE- Dale F. Woodard, 72, died unexpectedly February 27, 2009 at his home in Sangerville. He was born October 31, 1936, in Rochester, NY, son of Clinton and Louise (Andrews) Woodard.

He was a master electrician for over 30 years, and was involved in law enforcement with several county agencies. Dale also taught electrical wiring at the Vocational Ed Dept. at Hermon High School and Mt. Blue High School. He was a member of the Abner Wade Masonic Lodge in Sangerville for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara (McPhetres) Woodard of Sangerville; 2 children, Debbie Young and her husband, Eric of Milo, Dean Woodard of Derby; a very special granddaughter, Tiffany Dale Young of Milo; 3 sisters, Marilyn Leighton and her husband, Alton of Guilford, Lorraine Willey of Guilford, and Paula Philbrick and her husband, John of VA; 2 brothers, Carl Woodard and his wife, Hilda of Stillwater, Kenton Conroy of Pleasant Ridge; 2 sisters-in-law, Vi Woodard of Monson, and Fay Corson of Bingham; nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 PM, May 8, 2009, at the Elmwood Cemetery in Guilford with Pastor Maurice Neal and the members of the Abner Wade Masonic Lodge officiating.
