David Wohlforth GREENVILLE- David “Leigh” Wohlforth, passed away peacefully on the 16th day of June, 2009 from complications after a long and brave battle with cancer. He was born on July 24, 1950, son of Ernest and Elsie (Walker) Wohlforth.

Leigh retired and moved to Greenville, Maine in 2006. He worked his entire life as a driver-warehouser for Conrad Distributors in Deptford, New Jersey. He loved boating on the Delaware River with his friends, watching hockey and football on his big screen television, on-line computing, skiing, especially at Killington, Vermont, Breckenridge, Colorado, and Whistler, British Columbia, and snowmobiling with family and friends in the Moosehead Lake area in Maine.

He will be deeply missed by his long-time partner, Doris Girgenti; his son, Jason and wife, Melissa, their two children, Austin and MacKenzie of Swedesboro, New Jersey; his brother and best friend, Noel, and his wife, Linda, and son, Josh of Greenville, Maine; his brother, Ernest and his partner, Barbara Taylor of Mays Landing, New Jersey and Florida, his two sons, Christopher and Curtis; Doris’ daughter, Sarah Pacilli and her son, Christopher of Runnemede, New Jersey; and all his many South Jersey friends.

In accordance with Leigh’s wishes, there will be no formal service. The family will hold a celebration of his life on Sunday, June 21st at 18 S. Birch Street in Greenville Junction from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, for anyone who may wish to visit.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to C. A. Dean Memorial Hospital, P.O. Box 1129, Greenville, ME 04441, or any charity of choice.
