DELBERT E. OLMSTEAD
MILO - Delbert E. Olmstead, 61, husband of Patricia (Hussey) Olmstead, died June 14, 2002, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home after a brief battle with cancer. He was born Jan. 25, 1941, in Milo, the son of Albert and Eleanor (Souther) Olmstead. Delbert had been employed by the Town of Milo in the Public Works Department.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Patricia of Milo; a stepson, Rodney Bryer of Scarborough; a stepdaughter, Denise Douglass of Millinocket; a brother, David Olmstead of Bangor; four stepgrandchildren, Jessica, Brandon, Alexander, and special stepgrandson, Kyle; two nieces and one nephew. He was predeceased by a brother, Ralph.

Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2002, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, where funeral services will be conducted by his stepdaughter, Denise Douglass, 11 a.m. Monday, June 17. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo.
