DORIS L. MOUNTAIN
DEXTER, Doris L. Mountain, 92, died July 21, 2002 at a Dexter health care facility. She was born August 20, 1909, in Beulah, Michigan, daughter of William and Nina (Bowerman) Schultz. She graduated from Guilford High School and later worked for Snowflake Canning Company. After the Canning company burned Doris worked for several of the local area businesses. She was a communicant of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Dexter and was Past Regent of the Daughters of Isabella. In her leisure time Doris enjoyed playing golf.

She is survived by 3 sons, William, Wade and Ronald Mountain all of Dexter; a daughter, B. Joanne Dews of Owosso, Michigan; a sister, Marjorie Bullard of Guilford; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard E. Mountain, a son, Wayne F. Mountain, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 AM Wednesday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church with Rev. Raymond Morency officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
