veteranCAMBRIDGE, Francis C. Currier, 81, died December 19, 2001 at his home in Cambridge. He was born December 6, 1920 in Parkman, son of Alfred and Alice (Smart) Currier. He served in the US Army during WWII. He worked for many years at the area Woolen Mills and as a woodsman. Later Francis worked as a security guard at the Maplewood poultry plant in Belfast. He was a member of the VFW in Dexter.

He is survived by his wife, Grace Currier of Cambridge; his mother of Dexter; two sons, Michael F. Currier of Morrill and Patrick A. Currier of Cambridge; three daughters Alice Weeks of Cambridge, Lori Dargon of Frankfort and Nick K. Currier of Searsport; a sister, Louella Easler of Parkman; two brothers, Clarence Currier of Dover-Foxcroft and Gregory Currier of Guilford; 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 3 pm Thursday May 30th, at the Pingree Center Cemetery in Parkman, with Rev. Rick Davis officiating. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.
