G. Peter Lagasse
DEXTER- G. Peter Lagasse, 71, died March 21, 2013, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, following a long illness. He was born in Old Town, January 17, 1942, the son of Rodolph and Dorothy (Bennett) Lagasse.

Pete served in the US Air Force as a flight mechanic for 4 years. He worked in the family owned IGA store in Dexter for several years, and also worked for Cianbro Corporation in Pittsfield as a Millwright/Foreman for 17 years.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Peggy Lagasse of Dexter; 2 sons, Michael, and Christopher Lagasse; a stepson, John Yakulevich and family of Ocala, Florida; a brother Robert Lagasse and family of Derry, NH; a sister Bonnie Lagasse and family of St. Petersburg, Florida; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 1 PM, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Dexter, and a gathering of family and friends will be held at the Parish Hall, next to the church, following the service.
