GERALDINE K. CLARK
GARLAND and ORONO - Geraldine K. Clark, 83, wife of the late Roger W. Clark, died Jan. 31, 2009, at Orono Commons Nursing Home, where she had made her home for the past year. She was born July 20, 1925, in Garland, the daughter of William and Eva (Haskell) Earnest. She was a graduate of N.H. Faye High School, Dexter, and three years later was employed in the State Department, Washington, D.C., during the war. A resident of Garland the greater part of her life, she worked for Dunlap Agency, Bangor, as an insurance agent for 13 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Faye (Clark) Eishen and her husband, Thomas, of Spring, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Gloria J. Brooks of Florida. Geraldine was predeceased by her husband in 1962.
Graveside memorial services will be announced in the spring. Those who wish may make donations in Geraldine's memory to Disabled American Veterans, Memorial Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301. Arrangements are by Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth.
