GILMAY M. LAWRENCE
CRYSTAL RIVER, FL-Gilmay (Madore) Lawrence, 69, died peacefully April 25, 2009 at Cyprus Cove Nursing Home. She was born July 27, 1939 in Daigle, a daughter of Albert and Lena (Voisine) Madore. She worked in woolen mills in Maine for most of her life, and, upon retirement, resided in Crystal River, Florida. She lived life to the fullest enjoying camping, fishing, and hunting. The trip of her lifetime was when she went to Labrador, Newfoundland for three weeks. She enjoyed playing cribbage, or just hanging around with her extended family, Dottie, Missie, Jay Jay, and Kevin.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Marvin; a son, Jeffrey Spencer of Waterboro and his friend Frank Cronkhite; a stepson, Mickey and Nancy Lawrence of McAltin, FL; granddaughters, Amanda Spencer, Rachel Spencer, Bobbi Jo Bard; great grandsons, Manny Khan, Aiden Noble, and Connor Bard; 5 brothers, Gilman and Charlene Madore of Zephyrhills, FL, Gilbert Madore of Southington, CT, Clifford and Lucy Madore of Schenectady, NY, Bernard and Aline Madore of Meriden, CT, and Patrick and Sara Madore of Martin, GA; 4 sisters, Doris Raymond of New Britain, CT, Verna Madore of Southington, CT, Nancy Spencer of Albion, and Jeannette and Phillip Wright of Clinton; several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Dee Spencer; her parents; 3 brothers, Gerard, Reginald, and Norm; and 3 sisters, Bernice, Berdina, and Gladys. She will be greatly missed by her two best friends, Rosalie Crommett and Carole Paradis. Graveside committal services will be held 10 AM Friday, June 5th, at Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Corinna.
