KENNETH D. SNELL
ELLSWORTH & HARTLAND – Kenneth D. Snell, 84, died January 13, 2005 at an Ellsworth rehab and living center. He was born December 10, 1920 at Sioux City, Iowa, a son of Warner and Elsie (Harrison) Snell. He served in the U. S. Army in Burma and India during World War II, and later, in Korea. Ken was a member of the Masonic Order, The Shrine, and served many years as an advisor for DeMolay. He retired from General Motors Company and moved to Maine to be near his family. During retirement, he was a volunteer driver for the Bangor Veterans’ Outreach Center.
He is survived by his daughter, Marsha Giordano of Old Town; 5 grandchildren, Anthony and wife Stephanie, Peter, Shera and Marcus Giordano, Annette and husband Joseph Martinez; 3 great grandchildren, Ethan, Max and Raphael. He was predeceased by his wives, Dora and Dollie; and his son-in-law, Justin Giordano.
Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Newport.
