OBITUARIES

REV. LARRY J. LAMOND
MILO - The Rev. Larry J. Lamond, 67, died Nov. 14, 2007, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born Jan. 20, 1940, in Bethel, Conn., the son of Neil J. and Helene (Donovan) Lamond.

Larry had served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He earned a degree in criminal justice and worked for several years for the San Diego Police Department. Moving to Las Vegas, he worked for several casinos, before returning to Medford to care for his father and working as dispatcher for the Maine State Police Department, Orono.

Larry is survived by a brother, Alan Lamond and his wife, Alison, of Turner; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Lamond of Speculator, N.Y.; two nephews, a niece, and a great- nephew. He will be sadly missed by many close friends, including Eric Lauritsen of Milo. He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Neil J. Lamond.

Graveside memorial services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, in the family lot at Schoodic Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pine Tree Hospice, care of Mayo Regional Hospital, 895 West Main St., Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426.

Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft.
