LAURA A. WRIGHT
PITTSFIELD – Laura A. Wright, 65, died July 15, 2006 at a Pittsfield hospital after a period of declining health. She was born August 26, 1940 at Caribou a daughter of Oscar and Theresa (Langevin) Lister. A graduate of Bangor High School, she was a nurse at Eastern Maine General Hospital during the 1960’s. She worked for Penquis CAP in the 1970’s; and then moved to Kingman, AZ, where she was a staff co-ordinator for Kingman Regional Hospital, before returning to Maine in 2000. Laura loved gambling, auctions, yard sales, and coupon clipping. She had many talents such as cooking, dancing, singing and writing. Her excellence in English enabled her to teach the language to students in Japan for 2 years, while married to her 1st husband and the father of her children, Leland Coffey, while he was serving in the USAF.

Laura was predeceased by her brother, Oscar Lister, Jr. of Anaheim, CA. She is survived by her husband, Sydney J. Wright of Pittsfield; 3 children, Lynn Hudson of Plymouth, Robin Janda of Bowden, GA, and Robert Coffey of Tyler, TX; 2 sisters, Jane Beardsley and Rita Campbell, both of AZ; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, family and friends.

At her request there will be no public services. A private interment and family committal service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery, Newport.
