LEON S. CORSON, SR.
HUDSON & NEWPORT - Leon S. Corson, Sr., 59, died unexpectedly August 3, 2003 at a Bangor hospital. He was born July 25, 1944 at Dexter a son of Wilbur and Doris (Pearl) Corson. He was a self-employed woodsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Leon was known for his ability to dicker and trade. He loved spending time with his family and children, especially his two youngest, Austin and Autumn.

He is survived by his special love, Teresa Mills of Hudson; his children, Bruce Bennett, Sr. of St. Albans, Leon Corson, Jr. of Corinna, Wilbur Joe Corson of Pittsfield, Tommy Corson of St. Albans, Debra Michaud of Dover-Foxcroft, Lisa Bubar of Dexter, Kenneth LeBreck of Maine, Joshua and Jason Parker, both of Sangerville, Lynn and Mindy Corson, both of Brownville, Austin and Autumn Corson, both of Hudson; sons-in-law and daughters-in-law; 2 brothers, Linwood Corson of Parkman and Leroy Corson of Atkinson; 18 grandchildren; 1 great grand-daughter; many nieces and nephews; and his loving first wife and mother of his first six children, Louise Bennett of St. Albans. He was predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers, Lester and Leonard Corson and 2 sisters, Frances Marsh and Audrey Page.

A graveside funeral service will be held 10 A.M. Thursday at the Pingree Center Cemetery in Parkman. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport.
