GARLAND- Llewellyn Eugene Small, 78, died January 13, 2011, at his home in Garland. He was born July 9, 1932, in Wellington, son of Harold and Ethel (Robinson) Small.

He graduated from Guilford High School, class of 1949, and then worked in textile manufacturing for over 40 years. Llewellyn initially worked for the textile mill in Guilford, and then for 19 years for the Woolrich Woolen Mill in Woolrich, PA.

He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Frances (Smith) Small; and a brother, Carl Harold Small.

He is survived by nieces and nephews, including Rocky and Cindy Nichols, who watched over him in his later years.

Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 B Mt. Hope Ave Bangor 04401.
