ABBOT- Louise Alice Carter, 103, Abbot's oldest resident, died July 21, 2013, at Dexter Health Care in Dexter. She was born in Williamsburg, Maine, March 22, 1910, the daughter of Frank and Pluma (Higgins) Martell.

Private burial will be in the Abbot Village Cemetery. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Guilford.
