OBITUARIES

OTTALEE G. BLODGETT
SEBEC - Ottalee G. Blodgett, 90, wife of the late Wilson Blodgett, went to be with her Lord, Nov. 30, 2001, after a short illness at a local hospital. She was born Sept. 1, 1911, in Milo, the daughter of Medville and Pearl (Stevenson) Morton. She was a faithful member of the Sebec Corner Baptist Church. She enjoyed baking cookies and making doughnuts for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her many friends. She had recently celebrated a wonderful 90th birthday with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Cyrus Blodgett of Atkinson, Lucilva Hill and her husband, Nathan of Corinth, Laurene Hill and her husband, Isaiah of Sebec, Fred Blodgett and his wife, Julie of Dover-Foxcroft, and Myrtle Croteau of Skowhegan; two half sisters, Olive Philbrook of Brownville Junction, Evelyn Chapman of Sebec; a half brother, Willard Morton of Missouri, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchild-ren, several nieces and nephews. Ottalee was predeceased by her husband, Wilson in 1964; her son, Wilson in 1981; and by her brother, Anson Morton in 1991.

Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, where funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, with Pastor Isaiah Hill officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Sebec Corner Cemetery.
