Patricia A. (Cooney) Turner
NEWPORT – Pat Turner, 68, died December 16, 2012 in Brewer. She was born December 30, 1943, a daughter of Hugh and Clarissa (Getchell) Cooney. She graduated from Nokomis Regional High and had worked at Flood’s General Store and Newport Citgo, and was currently employed at UTC in Pittsfield. She enjoyed her lakefront home and especially enjoyed boating.

Pat is survived by 2 sons, Roland Fox of South Carolina and Scott Fox of Waterville; 2 daughters, Cindy and husband Doug Turner of East Newport, and Colleen and husband Scott Price of Newport; 2 brothers, George Cooney of St. Albans and Robert Getchell of Dexter; a sister, Helen and husband Skip Gordon of St. Albans; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, especially Debbie and Mark Carter. She was loved by all who knew her.

A Celebration of her Life will be held from 2 to 6 P.M. Saturday, December 22nd at her Camp Benson Road residence. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. Those who wish may leave written condolences at www.CrosbyNeal.com
