PAUL L. STONE
EXETER - Paul L. Stone, 87, died July 21, 2008 at home after a short illness. He was born September 8, 1920 in Garland, a son of Leonard and Clara (Butters) Stone. Paul was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He farmed all his life in Exeter. Paul was an avid snowmobiler who spent many hours dragging and maintaining trails after his retirement. He was predeceased by his wife Helen (Field) Stone and his brother R. Lee Stone.

He is survived by three sons, Paul R. Stone and wife Ellen, Leonard J. Stone, G. Dean Stone and wife Leslee, all of Exeter; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

At Paul's request there will be no services. Private burial will be in Exeter Center Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to the Pine Tree Camp, P. O. Box 518, Bath, ME 04530.
