OBITUARIES

RICHARD CARROLL BUBAR
NEWPORT AND ZEPHYRHILLS FLORIDA: Richard Carroll Bubar 74 passed away Friday March 11, 2005 at the Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa Florida. He was born in in St. Albans May 15, 1930 the son of Milton and Edith (Emerson) Bubar. He attended schools in St. Albans and at MCI in Pittsfield. He was a member of Meridian Masonic Lodge A.F. & AM #125, Ira Berry Chapter, the Knights Templer, DeMolay, Anah Shrine, and the Bethleham Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was a member of the High Street Congregational Church in Newport, Me.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Marion L. (Mitchell) Bubar of Newport and Zephyrhills FL., two sons, Carroll and his wife Nancy of Smithfield, Me., and Robert of New Port Richey, FL., two grandsons Jason of New Port Richey, and Travis of Eustes VA., two brothers Clifford and his wife Le Ellen of Oldsmar, FL., Western and his wife Camilla of Marco Island FL., his sister Virginia and her husband Dale Hopkins of Etna, Me., a step sister Catherine and her husband Eric Marsh of Camden, Me. He will also be remembered by two special people Karen Bubar and Mary Ann Sweitzer.

A Memorial service will be held 2 PM Wednesday March 16, 2005 at the Bradford Congregational Church in Zephyrhills FL.; the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial services will be held in the spring at the High Street Church at a time to be announced.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the High Street Congregational Church 24 High Street Newport, Me. 04953. Local arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Brown Funeral Home Newport.
