SANGERVILLE - Richard "Rick" A. Emery, 41, died unexpectedly March 9, 2005, at his residence. He was born Aug. 23, 1963, in Dover-Foxcroft. Rick was an avid bow hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors.

He is survived by his daughter, Karole-Anne Emery; his mother, Jacqueline and her husband, Barry Priest; his father, Wayne and his wife, Sherry Parks; a paternal grandfather, Donald Parks; his sister, Teresa Emery and her special friend, Andrew Batchelder; his brothers, Wayne Johnson, Steven, Jesse, Donald and Danny Parks; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by special cousins, Laurie Moore, Kevin and John Whitten; a special niece and nephew, Ashley and Darren; a special aunt, Maryann Whitten; a special uncle, Charlie Trottier; and special friends, Beatrice Russell, Brent and Jodi Cunningham, Les, Brian, Dana, Bill, Sparky, his "little buddy", Jeremy Russell, Andrew, and his dog, Josie. Rick was predeceased by his father, Warren Emery; his grandparents, Dwight and Minnie Emery, and his Grammy Pink.

Graveside memorial services in Dover Cemetery will be announced in the spring by the Lary Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2005, at the Bear's Den, Dover-Foxcroft.
