Robert G. Frappier, Sr.
STETSON—Robert G. Frappier, Sr., 73, died January 16, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. He was born July 21, 1939 in Worcester, Massachusetts, a son of George and Helen (Stolberg) Frappier.

Robert was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Exeter and the Good Sam Club. He helped found the Penobscot Long Rifle Black Powder Club and owned and operated Townfarm Gun Shop in Stetson with his son Robert, Jr. His sons would like to acknowledge their father’s active participation in their lives teaching them life and occupational skills, enabling them to all build their own homes.

He is survived by his wife Ellen (Born) of Stetson; 3 sons, Robert and wife Helen Frappier, Jr. of Bangor, Michael and wife Bobette Frappier of Hermon, and Richard Frappier, Sr. of Strong; 2 step-sons and their wives, William and Debra Reichert of Eliot and Gene and Fran Reichert of Holyoke, MA; a step-daughter, Lisa and husband Gerald Epp of Mechanicsville, MD; 2 brothers and their wives, Frank and Lynn Frappier of Homestead, CA and Hank and Roxanne Frappier of Troy, TX; a sister, Christine and husband Gordon Horne of W. Greenwich, RI; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Evelyn.

A memorial service will be held 11 A.M. Friday, January 25th at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, with the Rev. Stan Griffin officiating. Spring burial will be in Clark’s Hill Cemetery, Stetson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Penobscot Long Rifle Black Powder Club, c/o Jeff Durkee, 184 Stetson Road, Stetson, ME 04488.
