Shane Ernest Lancaster
CORINTH - Shane Ernest Lancaster, 33, died unexpectedly Jan. 12, 2007. He was born Aug. 14, 1973, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Michael and Marcia (Vigue) Lancaster. He had worked as a carpenter most of his life and enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Lindsey Lou and his niece, Kamryn Commeau.

He was a member of the local four-wheeler clubs, loved to participate in cribbage tournaments and was a hardcore Yankees fan.

Surviving in addition to his daughter, are his parents of Corinth; his special friend, Amy Durant of Carmel; two sisters, Shawna McKay and her husband, Dan, of Hudson and Shannon Commeau and her husband, Jeff, of Charleston; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Vigue of Corinth; his paternal grandmother, Anita Edgerly of Dover-Foxcroft; several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends, Kellie, Chris and Eric "Stretch."

Shane was predeceased by his grandfathers, Clayton Vigue and Vinal Lancaster.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Corinth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Cynthia Nickerson and the Rev. Ronald E. Libby officiating.
