SHARON M. BUNKER
She attended Harmony schools, and went to Una's School of Cosmetology in Skowhegan, where she graduated February 18, 1969. She opened Sharon's Beauty Shop January 19, 1970. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Ladies Extension in Cambridge. Sharon enjoyed camping with her husband, her dog Minnie, family and friends at the Cuddy Lot as well as camping trips. She loved quilting for her children and grandchildren and crafting with family and friends.
In addition to her husband of 45 years, she is survived by a daughter, Valerie Ripley of Cambridge, and a son, Mark Bunker and his wife Ann of Peabody, Ma.; six grandchildren, Shane Turcotte and his wife Sonja of Newport, and Kevin and Kendra Ripley of Cambridge, Adrian Bunker of Cambridge, Elizabeth Noiles and her husband Travis of Virginia, and Jonathan Bunker of Peabody, Ma.; four brothers, Richard Carr and his wife, Louise of Harmony, Vernon Carr and his wife, Dorine of Harmony, Gordon Carr and his wife Janice of Harmony, Dana Carr and his wife Marilyn of Hartland, two sisters, Dorothy ( Carr ) Barrows of New Gloucester, Barbara ( Carr ) Herrick and her husband Clarence of Dover-Foxcroft; a sister-in-law Marita Bunker ) Farrar and her husband Rodney of Ripley; and her husband's parents, Robert N. Sr. and Lula Bunker of Cambridge. She was predeceased by her parents and an infant son.
Friends and family may call from 6-8 pm, Friday, June 14 at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home in Dexter, Maine. Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 15, at the funeral home in Dexter with the Rev. Lois Merrifield officiating. Interment will be in Cambridge Memorial Garden.
