PLYMOUTH – Walter James Bacon, 55, died unexpectedly May 3, 2003 at his Pushor Road residence. He was born December 11, 1947 at Ticonderoga, New York, a son of Daniel and Edna (Sears) Bacon. On February 18, 1976, he married the former Eunice Belrose. At the time of his death, he was the janitor at St. Mary’s School in Bangor. He will also be remembered as a drag racer at Winterport Dragway.

In addition to his wife of Plymouth, he is survived by 2 step-sons, Robert Bowers of Vermont and Russell Bowers of Plymouth; 3 step-daughters, Linda Lee Bowers of Corinna, Patricia Gilbert of Dexter, and Nancy Levine of Plymouth; a brother, Forest Bacon of Plymouth; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A family committal will be held in Ticonderoga, NY. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport.
