OBITUARIES

WANDA JANE P. WILEY
DOVER-FOXCROFT - Wanda Jane P. Wiley, 79, wife of Clifford L. Wiley, died unexpectedly, Feb. 11, 2002, at a local hospital. She was born Nov. 22, 1922, in Little Rock, Ark., the daughter of Herbert G. and Lota (Scott) Peacock. Wanda was a member of the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church, where she expressed her love of music, singing in the choir for many years. She was always a dedicated volunteer for church fairs. Wanda was a member of the Molasto Club and the Cosmopolitan Club. An avid bridge player, she was also well-known for her knitting. She was involved and participated in hospice training in the Dover-Foxcroft area. Wanda had worked for Dr. Ellery for many years, where she met and enjoyed many friends.

She is survived by her husband, Cliff of Dover-Foxcroft; two sons, Wade Scott of Ferndale, Mich., Jay of Topsham; a daughter, Deborah Hillman of Greene; a grandson, Nathaniel Wiley of Vinalhaven; a brother-in-law, Garland Wood of Little Rock, Ark.; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Cynthia Terrell of Little Rock, Ark.; and a special nephew, William Wood of Fayetteville, Ark., several grandnieces and grandnephews.

A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Dale officiating. A time of sharing and fellowship will follow the service in the chapel. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church Scholarship Fund, 10 West Main St., Dover-Foxcroft 04426. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft.
