ETNA—Wesley Keith O’Dell, 34, died unexpectedly January 16, 2003 at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born August 27, 1968 at Springfield, MO, a son of Burle and Maryella (Peabody) O’Dell. He was currently employed at the Newport Redemption Center. Wesley enjoyed sports, especially softball, NASCAR and darts. He will be remembered as an outdoorsman and an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Burle and Gay O’Dell of Nevada; his mother, Maryella Pangman of Monson; his stepfather, George Scott of Houlton; and his wife, Tammy (Faloon) O’Dell of Etna. He was a loving father to his 5 children, Wesley, Jr., Anthony, Cole, Harlee, and Logen, all of Etna; 2 step-children, Cody Faloon and Seth Tozier both of Canaan; 2 sisters, Tisha Short of Missouri and Mary L. Gellings of New Hampshire; a step-brother, Mike O’Dell of Missouri; a special friend and “brother”, Wade Wheeler of St. Albans; aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends, especially by his loving wife.

In memory of our loving son “Giddy Up Go.” In memory of our loving father, “Be Like That.” Family and friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Sunday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, January 20th, with Pastor David Ray, Jr. officiating. Spring burial will be in the family lot, Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Etna. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a scholarship fund to benefit his children; c/o People’s Heritage Bank, P.O.
