Deb's Tips Are you “un-represented”
in Real Estate?
An un-represented (un-listed) seller in real estate could lose time, money and their sanity! Most savvy buyers work with agents who are representing them in the real estate transaction.

As an un-represented seller you may have a difficult time pricing, negotiating, staging, advertising, finding workman to make needed repairs, completing essential paperwork and disclosures, and the list goes on and on!!

In 2005 the National Association of Realtors profile of Home Buyers and Sellers showed that home prices for sellers using an agent were 16% higher than a home directly sold by the un-represented seller. In Addition to doing all the work themselves and exposing themselves to potential liability issues, un-represented sellers may be leaving money on the table even after accounting for a commission to the Buyers agent. The Buyer's agent will get a commission that most of the time will come out of the Sellers side of the transaction. You will be paying a commission with absolutely no representation! Doesn't it make sense to hire an agent to REPRESENT you??
