Agnes L. Cookson
NEWPORT—Agnes L. Cookson, 78, died February 4, 2012 at her residence. She was born April 30, 1933 in Stetson, a daughter of Ralph and Clara (Hutchinson) Easley. She graduated from Newport High School, Class of 1951.

She is survived by a son Donald and wife Kelly Cookson of Enfield; a daughter Debbie and husband Wayne Johnson of Waupaca, WI; 3 brothers, William Easley of WA, John Easley of TX and Roger and wife Linda Easley of N. Berwick; 4 sisters and their husbands Thelma and Paul Rennebu of Dexter, Cora and Bill Bush of W. VA, Linda and Keith Fennelly of N. Newport, and Francine and Peter Hickey of Dixmont; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Earl Cookson; a baby brother, Raymond Easley; and a grandson Timothy Johnson.

A memorial service will be 6 P.M. Tuesday, February 7th at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport with Pastor Al Worden officiating. Spring graveside committal services will be held at the Cookson family lot, Riverside Cemetery, Newport.
