Alfred S. Young
GREENVILLE AND KITTERY- Alfred S. Young, 70, died unexpectedly, July 13, 2012, in Greenville. He was born March 27, 1942, in Bath, a son of Orman and Mabel (Trask) Young.

Alfred taught school for many years in Maine, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and for over 30 years in Portsmouth, NH. He was a Deacon and active member of the Seacoast Community Church in Portsmouth.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn (Rogers) Young of Kittery and Greenville; a son, Jonathan Young, and 2 grandchildren, Noah C. Young and Morgan A. Young, all of Milton, VT; a brother, Daniel Young and his wife, Judith of Oak Hill, VA; a sister, Doris Watson of Brunswick; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Orman Jr.; and a sister, Maxine (Young) Williams.

A graveside service will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the Greenville Cemetery. Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, July 21, 2012, at the Seacoast Community Church, Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, NH, with Dr. Stephen Hankins officiating.
