ALICE D. MARTIN
NEWPORT – Alice D. Martin, 45, died unexpectedly March 22, 2003 at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born July 14, 1957 at Dexter a daughter of Ralph and Marion (Maloon) Martin. She was a graduate of Nokomis Regional High and was employed as a personal care assistant until her retirement due to ill health.

She was predeceased by her mother Marion Bonnet, and her brother Delmont Martin. Alice is survived by her father and step-mother, Ralph and Marcy Martin of Pittsfield; her boyfriend of 25 years, Craig Kellem, Sr. of Newport; her children, Ben Martin and his wife Tina, Krissy Martin, and Craig Kellem, Jr., all of Newport; 3 brothers, Louis Maloon of Exeter, Michael Galvin of Waterville, and Trevor Galvin of Pittsfield; 4 sisters, Louise Martin of Etna, Lynn Martin of Lewiston, Misty Galvin of Pittsfield, and Rachel Martin of Stetson; 3 grandchildren, Tyler Springmann, Zachary and Keana Martin.

There will be no services at this time. A graveside service will be held later in the spring at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with the Rev. Daniel Ellingwood officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport.
