OBITUARIES

ALICE E. ROBSON
PITTSFIELD – Alice E. Robson, 59, died December 28, 2000 at a Pittsfield hospital after a long illness. She was born January 13, 1941 at Boston, Mass., the daughter of Alfred and Alice (Costa) Dias. She graduated from Billerica High School, Class of 1959, and was employed as manager of Trackside Restaurant and Lounge in Rockland, and later, as office manager at Mr. Lobster, a lobster processing firm in Owl’s Head, until 1991. She was a member of the Camden American Legion Auxiliary and attended St Martin’s Episcopal Church in Palmyra, and the House of Prayer and Praise in Canaan. She also was affiliated with the Sebasticook Valley Boys & Girls Club.

She is survived by a son, Dwight Robson and his wife Lena of Winthrop, Mass.; 3 daughters Marlene Cullity of Pittsfield, Pamela Jean Cullity-LeBlanc of Waldoboro, Alison and husband Daniel Lary of Pittsfield; 2 step-daughters, Anne and husband Steve Gruber of Titusville, FL, Lisa and husband Gary Carleton of Rockland; 1 brother, Alfred Dias of Delray Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren; her former husband, Arthur William Robson of Owl’s Head; dear friends Patti Rhodes and Dawn Witham-Craig, both of Pittsfield; and Alice’s significant other, Jasper A. Farrington, Jr. of Pittsfield.

Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, January 2nd, at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday, January 3rd, at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Route 2, Palmyra with the Revs. Janet McAuley and Diana Perkins officiating. Burial will be in the spring at the family lot, Pittsfield Village Cemetery. Following the service, a reception will be held at her daughter Marlene’s home at 8 Waverly Avenue, Pittsfield.
