ALICE MAE WALKER GALLAGHER Alice moved to Harmony where she married and raised three sons. She worked at many jobs including running the Walker General Store and Alice’s Restaurant. She enjoyed being outdoors camping, fishing, gardening and canning to give to others. Her generous heart always put the needs of others before her own. She was always the first to respond to a neighbor in need. Alice was a strong, generous, loving woman who loved to joke and share her quick wit. She was predeceased by her sister, Leatha Cray and in 1997 by her husband of 37 years, Elton “Buddy” Walker. She will be greatly missed By her husband George E.Gallagher, sister Connie York and husband Bruce of Harmony, son Kenneth Walker of Waycross, GA, son Reginald Walker and wife Melissa of Thomaston, son Scott Walker of Clarksburg, PA and two stepsons, Eddie and Jeff Gallagher of Clarksburg, PA. She also leaves behind four grandsons, four granddaughters and two great-grandsons. A grave side service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Libby Cemetery, Rt. 150, Harmony.
