ALMA M. ENGSTROM
DOVER-FOXCROFT - Alma M. Engstrom, 86, wife of Edward L. Engstrom, died May 23, 2005, at her residence. She was born Oct. 26, 1918, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Clarence and Ethel (Jardine) Marshall. Alma was a graduate of Foxcroft Academy, Class of 1937. She had worked as a nurse's aid for many years, the last 13 of her career at Mayo Regional Hospital. Her true love was in obstetrics and taking care of newborns in the nursery. She will be remembered fondly for her gentle nature, pleasant smile, and never ceasing need to care for others.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Edward of Dover-Foxcroft; three sons, Barry, Ronald and his wife, Sandy, Stephen and his wife, Pat; two daughters, Judith and her husband, Charles Edgerly, Ellen and her husband, Richard Tucker, all of Dover-Foxcroft; 11 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by special friend and caregiver, Cathy Campbell.

Graveside memorial services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2005, at the family lot in McAllister Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mayo Regional Hospital, Obstetrics Department, 897 West Main St., Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426, or to Maine Alzheimer's Disease Assn., Inc., 163 Lancaster St., Suite 160B, Portland, ME 04101.
