ALTON A. CARLE
SANGERVILLE, Alton A. Carle, 69, died May 16, 2006, at his home in Sangerville. He was born November 2, 1936, in Sangerville, son of Milton and Avis (Shields) Carle. He worked in the woods for several years, and then worked for Hardwood Products Company in Guilford for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and loved watching the Red Sox and NASCAR races.

He is survived by his wife, Judith (Dulac) Carle, a daughter and her husband, Tammy and Dennis Dow; 2 grandchildren, Logan and Mikayla all of Sangerville; a brother, Milton Carle Jr. of Abbot; 2 sisters, Helen Pearl of South Carolina, and Evelyn Sudsbury and her husband, Ronald of Sangerville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 19, 2006 at 2pm at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak Street, in Guilford with Pastor Ray Beless officiating. Burial will be in the Village Cemetery in Sangerville. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in his memory to a fund that will be used to help a student in the field of forestry.
