ALVERDO L. GUSTIN
GARLAND-Alverdo L. Gustin, 52, died May 18, 2008, at the Veteran's Hospital in Togus. He was born September 11, 1955, in Dexter, son of Lawrence and Kathleen (Hall) Gustin. He served in the US Navy, and after the service worked as a woodsman for most of his life.

He is survived by 5 children, Michael Gustin of Sangerville, Travis Gustin of Garland, and Chris Hathaway of Hartland; 2 daughters, Suzanne Gustin of Bangor, and Marissa Gustin of Unity; 2 brothers, Gordon Gustin of Dexter and Timothy Gustin of Dexter; a sister Lucille Irvin of Ripley; 8 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Claudia (Gustin) Davis.

Graveside services will be held at 4 PM, Friday, May 30, 2008 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter, followed by a celebration of his life at his sister's home in Ripley. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Dexter. For an online guest register, go to www.CrosbyNeal.com.
