OBITUARIES

ANNA MAE FIELD
DEXTER - Anna Mae Field, 83, of Spring Street, died Dec. 7, 2008, at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Nursing Care, Glenridge Drive, Augusta, after an extended illness. She was born May 31, 1925, in Baxter, Tenn., the daughter of Isac High and Blanche (Overstreet) High. Anna attended Baxter University in Tennessee. She was employed as a nurses aide by Plummer Memorial Hospital, Dexter, for most of her employed life.

Anna was predeceased by her parents; and by her husband, Clifton J. Field. Surviving are two daughters, Germaine P. Bouchard of Oakland and Mary Etta Cyr of Hermon; two sons, Harold Field of New Vineyard and Eugene Field of West Hempstead, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

There will be no public visiting hours or funeral services. Burial will be in Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta. Condolences to the family may be expressed via the funeral home website at www.plummerfh.com.
