ARLINE E. BASTON
SANGERVILLE, Arline E. Baston, 85, died December 9, 2002 at Hibbard Nursing Home in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born June 24, 1917 in Lisbon, daughter of Wallace and Eloise (Campbell) Benson. She was active with the Jehovah Witnesses and attended the Kingdom Hall in Abbot. She was also a member of the Rebekahs in Lisbon. Arline was a gifted pianist and vocalist and played at many of the contra dances in her younger years. She was also an artist who added color to the black and white portraits as well as working with oils.

She was predeceased by her husband Harry E. Baston in 1998 and two sisters, Doris Gould and Nellie Parlin. She is survived by a son and his wife, Richard and Maxine Baston of Sangerville; two daughters Judy and her husband Philip Adams of Greenville, and Phyllis Blasko of Sangerville; a brother, Lester Benson of Lisbon; three grandchildren, Keith Baston of Maryland, Andrea and her husband Eugene Holley of North Carolina, and Wendi and her husband Dennis O’Connor of Greenville; two great grandsons, Scott and Sean Baston of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 14, 2002, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak Street in Guilford.
