ARTHUR G. "ART" BAKER, SR.
BROWNVILLE- Arthur G. "Art" Baker Sr., 64, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on February 29, 2008, in Sebec under the bright blue sky, in the Maine woods that he loved so much. He was born November 13, 1943, in Patten, the son of Peter and Effie (Campbell) Baker.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Marcia (Gerald) Baker of Brownville; his best friend and companion, his dog, Chloe; two daughters, "Daddy"s baby girl"- Toni Perreault and her fiancé, Gene Moulton of Harmony and her two boys, Christopher Lane and his fiancée, Beth of Patten, and Joshua Young of Orono, and Karen Kotowski and her husband, Andrew and their two sons, Christopher and Steven of NJ; three sons, Tellis and his wife, Deannie and their two daughters, Abigail and Tessa of Bucksport, Allen and his son CJ of CT, James and his two children, Tyler and Megan of MA; three sisters, Marguerite and Kent Michaud of FL, Phyllis and Roland Wilkins of Patten and Virginia Anderson of Patten; two brothers, Charles of Patten and Peter of Alton. Art will be missed by his many special "coffee friends" along with Pastor and Mrs. Isaiah Hill, whom he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his parents, three sisters, Ethel, Mary and Winnifred; as well as three brothers, Tellis, Clarence, and Albert. Art loved everyone and especially "Papa"s Little Angels" Abigail and Tessa, and two special sisters-in-law, Ardis of Sherman and Donna of Crystal. Art loved the outdoors and all of God"s creation. He also loved his Cornerstone Baptist Church family and would have spent every moment with them if possible.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Exeter with Pastor Stan Griffin officiating. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service.
