ARTHUR L. UNDERHILL
CORINTH & STETSON—Arthur L. Underhill, 74, died July 7, 2008 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born September 3, 1933 in Etna, a son of William and Erma (Savage) Underhill. He attended Corinna Union Academy. Arthur was a supervisor at Cianbro Construction Company and owned and operated A. L. Underhill & Sons Shingle Mill. He was a member of Pacific Lodge #64 AF & AM of Exeter. He loved his camp on Junior Lake where he had many good memories, but his greatest joy was being a grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Glenace (Roberts) of Corinth; 3 sons, Randy and wife Jan Underhill of Wells, Rod Underhill of Stetson, Brad and wife Becky Underhill of Corinth; 2 daughters and their husbands, Sue and Bob Maheu of South Portland and Doreen and John Simpson of Exeter; 2 brothers and their wives, Everett and Kay Underhill of Stetson and Ralph and Nancy Underhill of Newport; 1 sister, Jane and husband Mike Sherry of Woburn, MA; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 aunts.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, July 9th at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where Masonic services will be conducted at 7 PM. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Thursday at Crosby & Neal with Pastor Al H. Worden officiating. Burial will be in the Clark’s Hill Cemetery, Stetson. Memorial donations may be made to the Anah Shrine Burn Center, P. O.
