AVIS J. BREWER
BROWNVILLE JCT. - Avis J. Brewer, 77, wife of the late Donald M. Brewer, died Nov. 14, 2001, at her residence. She was born Aug. 19, 1924, in Bristol, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Harold N. Ida (Dingee) McDougall. She was a 35 year member of the Bernard Jones American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 92, and a member of the Brownville Jct. United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Norman and his wife, Marea of South Riding, Va., George and his wife, Suzy of Gorham, Jeffrey and his wife, Fran of Brownville Jct.; two daughters, Pamela and her husband, Alan Kirby of Derry, N.H., Joan and her husband, Ben Murray of Portland; brother, Ronald McDougall and his wife, Desta of Bristol, New Brunswick, Canada; five grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews. She will be remembered by special friends, Marc and Roz Zambrano, and Beverly Jamison.

Memorial services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, with the Rev. Michelle St. Cyr officiating. Following services at the funeral home, a light luncheon will be held at the Brownville Jct. United Methodist Church.
