Barbara H. Whiting
ABBOT- Barbara H. Whiting, 87, died September 12, 2012, at her home in Abbot. She was born in Abbot, January 1, 1925, the daughter of Ernest and Abbie (Garrish) Bickford.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Smith and her husband, Steven of Abbot; a daughter-in-law, Nancy; 6 grandchildren, Patrick Whiting and his wife, Sandy, Kenneth Simpson, Christopher and his wife, Emily, Kimberly Baird and her husband, Howard, Kelly Simpson and his wife, Jennifer, Angie Wilmot, and her fiancé, Gordon; 10 great grandchildren, Brandon, Trevon, Connor, Morgan, Matthew, Dawson, Shana, Tyler, Megan, and Austin; a brother, Hugh Bickford of Skowhegan; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Norman Whiting; a son, Carroll, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

We love you Gram, and you will be in our hearts forever, resting in Jesus' arms.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, September 17, 2012, at www.CrosbyNeal.com, 21 Oak Street in Guilford, with Pastor Chris Veira officiating. Friends may call from 1 PM until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Abbot Village Cemetery.
