BEATRICE "BEA" CONWAY
NEWPORT Beatrice L. (Pushor) Dyer Conway, 80, died February 4, 2001 at a Springfield, VT rehabilitation center. She was born April 23, 1920 at Corinna the daughter of Pearl and Ella (Willey) Pushor. She attended Corinna Union Academy and was employed for 20 years at Snowflake Canning Company in Corinna. After the mill burned she worked for 10 years at Bishop's Boarding Home, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Newport Senior Citizens.

Bea was predeceased by her first husband, James Dyer, her second husband, Francis "Bill" Conway, and a brother, Carl Pushor. She is survived by a son Denzel Dyer of Greenfield, NH; 2 daughters, Mrs. Walter (Frances) Giroux of Charlestown, NH, and Sally Dyer of St. Albans; several half-brothers and half-sisters; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 nephews and a number of cousins.

Her friends and family may call from 6-8 P.M. Thursday, February 8th, at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport. A graveside committal service will be held in the spring. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, beside her second husband.
