BEATRICE LOUISE (WHITING) STEVENS
EXETER – Beatrice Louise (Whiting) Stevens, 94, passed away April 20, 2008 at a Dexter health care facility. She was born October 7, 1913 in Carmel a daughter of John and Blanche (Colman) Whiting She was a member of the Exeter Full Gospel Church for many years. She retired from the Snowflake Canning Company in Corinna when it was destroyed by fire. Bea is survived by 2 sons, Ronald and wife Vivian, Dennis and wife Carma Stevens, all of Exeter; 3 daughters, Geraldine Fernald of Bangor, Pauline and husband Edward Hoover of Kennebunkport, and Elizabeth Kominski and fiancé Mark Crandall of Westbrook; a sister, Leola and husband “Buster” Dean of Machias; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren. She was
predeceased by her husband, Clifford A. Stevens, Sr. on September 15, 1981.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, April 22nd, at Exeter Full Gospel Church, with the Rev. Chris Faloon officiating. Burial will be in North Newport Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Exeter Full Gospel Church, P.O. Box 24, Exeter, ME 04435. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna.
