BENJAMIN "BEN" EDGERLY
GUILFORD – Benjamin “Ben” Edgerly died July 23, 2004 as a result of an automobile accident near Jackman. He was born July 15, 1984 the son of Randy and Darlene Edgerly. Ben worked at Goulette’s IGA for 3 years and after graduating from PCHS in 2003, he worked at Hardwood Products Company during the summer and for the summer recreation program in Guilford. He had just completed one year at Husson College in the Criminal Justice Program. Ben was a member of the Guilford United Methodist Church and had perfect attendance in Sunday school for 12 years. Ben attended Methodist Church camp for 7 years and was a camp counselor for 2 years. He played soccer for PCHS and the team was Eastern Maine Champions 2 years in a row. Ben also played the trumpet and Taps at the Memorial Day parades. Ben was a fun-loving, comical boy who loved kids and liked to make them laugh.

Surviving are his parents of Guilford; two sisters Kamisha and her two children Dante and Daneeka of Portland, Lacresha of Boston; and a brother, Michael, of Guilford; grandparents Charles Tuttle and his friend Mary Lemieux of China, Maine, Rodney and Beverly Edgerly of Guilford; great grandmother, Maxine Tripp of Guilford; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He leaves behind a special friend, Sarah Becker, in the US Army. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Phyllis Tuttle, in 1991. Ben will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all.

Friends may call 5-8 PM, Monday, July 26, 2004, at the Abbot Evangelical Free Church in Abbot. Funeral services will be held at the church, 10 AM, Tuesday, with Pastor Ray Beless and the Rev. Dr. Richard Davis officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Lawn Cemetery in Guilford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dexter Regional Federal Credit Union, P.O.
