BETTY LOU (EMERY) HALL
LEWISTON & PALMYRA – Betty Lou Hall, also known as Betty Lou Richards, 59, died April 9, 2004 at her residence with her loving husband Brad by her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 1, 1944 at Hartland a daughter of Elwood and Irene (Caldwell) Emery. She was employed at Dexter Shoe Company in Newport, Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna, and Banton Brothers Mill in Newport.

She is survived by her husband, Bradley Hall, Sr. of Lewiston; 3 daughters, Anna Marie Weston and husband Nathan, of Madison, Brenda Glidden and husband Joseph, Jr. of St. Albans, and Victoria “Tory” Gray and husband Tom of Newport; 2 sisters, Nancy Bunker and husband Robert of Cambridge, and Carol Newton of Florida; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her son, Kenneth Richardson.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Monday, April 12th at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport, with the Rev. Lewis Bell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 P.M. until the time of services. Burial will be in the Maloon Cemetery, St. Albans, later in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Main Street, Suite 100, Topsham, ME 04086.
